Pumpkinheads Book Series for Kids

Image
The 1st book, that I received, was Peanut's Mistake by Karen Kilpatrick This specific Pumpkinheads adventure is with Peanut the dog and Carmin. Peanut knows not to run in the house and yet he does. He gets so excited running after a ball that he knocks the shelf over and breaks a vase. He gets so upset that he runs off and hides. Carmin comes through and doesn't see the mess. She walks through and trips over the mess, she then gets it all over her dress. She is very upset and gets ready to go and scold Peanut. Trying to find him is difficult until she sees his dirty paw prints. She follows them all the way to under the bed. After he comes out Carmin shows him that everyone makes mistakes and she still loves him. They clean up the mess, together. The last couple pages are questions " What do you do when you make a messy mistake"? Different kids have different answers but Carmin and Peanut say "We clean it up"! Everyone makes mistakes. So what can

Wonderkid Safety Locks for Children and Pets

Image
These were the best locks that I have ever come across! I have used a lot of different locks in my 19 years of being a mom. Most of the ones that you can buy from Walmart or Babies R Us are pretty flimsy. These Wonderkid locks are very sturdy! I have been so tired of my daughter walking through the house and she has a new item from the fridge. We have tried numerous ways to keep her out and not one of the ways worked. She just turned 3 and loves to get in to everything. I pulled out these locks and decided to try them on her. Very simple to install. Just pull off the sticker strip and it adheres to whatever surface you are applying it to. Then repeat with the other end. I LOVE these locks! Just to make sure they would withstand my daughter pulling on the door to the fridge and freezer, I had my older daughter stand there pulling and yanking to see if they could withstand the pressure. She literally had herself at an angle hanging onto the handle of the fridge and the locks didn

Jelly Beans and More by Gimbals

We received these candies to test, right in the middle of moving. 1 day we left a couple of our teens at the old house to finish packing up. I made 1 big mistake. I left this bag of jelly beans with them. When I came back, they were complaining about their stomachs hurting...now wait before you jump to conclusions, their stomachs didn't hurt because the candy was gross. It was quite the opposite! The girls said they were so good that they couldn't stop eating them. The 2 girls ate the whole bag by themselves. I didn't get any.  The girls said the taste was great! Definitely a candy they want in the house, again.  This company does not only deal in jelly beans. They sell so many more candies. Check them out at: http://www.gimbalscandy.com/ These jelly beans can be purchased for $9.95 on Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007V3UHG6?keywords=gimbals%20jelly%20beans&qid=1445356727&ref_=sr_1_5&s=grocery&sr=1-5 Best part is you don't have to w
