Hugo The Starfish Bridges of Creativity E-Book review

Image
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. We absolutely love Hugo at our house! Come on a sea adventure with HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH as he finds out that HAPPINESS begins with CREATIVITY. BRIDGES OF CREATIVITY (THE ISLAND OF CREATIVIYT) contains a great educational lesson about being creative. The Hugo books are all based on Hugo's want to go to the real world. As Hugo is on his journey in this book he travels to the Island of Creativity. When Hugo gets to this island he meets Charisma. She tells Hugo that in order to make it on this island he needs to fire up his imagination. I am constantly telling my kids to use their imaginations when they play. So this book was perfect for this lesson. Hugo finds others trying to use their imaginations to cross the island. It takes Hugo a few turns but he is able to relax and use his inner imagination. When he does he discovers that he can do it. Such a cute story and again with a great moral to it. That is why...

Toopy and Binoo is a Canadian based cartoon for preschoolers. I can't tell you how much this cartoon caught the eye of even my 16 month old. The colors and voices are enthralling. Toopy is a funny, friendly, optimistic, impulsive mouse whose insatiable zest for life is matched only by his love for his best friend, Binoo. Binoo is a lovable cat who is logical, sensible, and thinks before he acts. Binoo is devoted to his best friend Toopy If you go to PBS Kids http://pbskids.org/toopyandbinoo/ there are games and free printable activities to go along with the show. Youtube has a whole channel specifically set for Toopy and Binoo episodes. You should really check them out! http://www.youtube.com/user/toopyandbinootv Our youngest kids loved these 2 characters. And Toopy really seems to take good care of Binoo just like brothers should not just friends. Great showing of friendship. Ellore Femme Hair Chalk

Image
Little girls love to have different colors in their hair. Ellore Femme has come up with an easy way to do that with out all the chemicals. Moms will also like this hair chalk is not permanent. Girls can have as many different colors on as many different strands of hair as they want. With hair color you for the most part have to have 1 color. My girls loved the Ellore Femme hair chalk! My girls are 12 and 9. My 6 year old son even got involved and had reddish orange hair for awhile. The hair chalk is very easy to use. The child just dampens the hair that they are going to color and then rub the chalk along that strand of hair. That strand turns a pretty color. With hair chalk you daughter or son does not have to wait for Halloween to make their hair different colors. This would be great for sporting events also.
