It can be so hard to find a good prenatal vitamin. You definitely want one with folic acid and B12 but some of them irritate your stomach. Some don't have the right amount of each vitamin. I have to say that I believe this one might have all the vitamins that you need. It is still good to take the prenatal vitamin before bed. In doing so, it helps your stomach from being irritated by the pill.
My daughter is 29 weeks this week and still has morning sickness. These vitamins have not seemed to cause her tummy any more grief. It is nice to know that the nutrients that she is giving to her baby are good for her.
You don't just need to take these while you are pregnant. It is also very important to take a multivitamin while you are nursing. Make sure that your body and the body of your baby are receiving all the great nutrients.
Added features are stronger hair and nails! There is no strong odor to the Nutrigold Prenatals.
Multivitamins are supplements that contains at least 3 or more vitamins and/or minerals in amounts that are below tolerable upper limits established by the Office of Dietary Supplements to help ensure that the body's nutrient needs are met and risks of health conditions associated with specific nutrient deficiencies are minimized.
Most commercially available multivitamin supplements feature vitamins and minerals in one or more of the following forms: •Synthetic isolates created wholly in a lab from industrial chemicals
Cultured nutrients created by culturing vitamin and mineral isolates in nutritional yeast
Whole-food nutrients extracted from natural food sources (e.g. herbs, fruits, spices, & vegetables)
A combination of the three forms listed above
Forms of Multivitamins - Synthetic Isolates vs. Cultured Nutrients vs. Whole-food Nutrients ••Synthetic Isolates - Although not ideal because they are synthetic and created in a lab from industrial chemicals, synthetic isolates are frequently used in commercial multivitamin formulations to achieve high doses of vitamins and minerals without the premium price tag associated with food-based and whole-food vitamins. Although relatively inexpensive compared to cultured nutrients and whole-food multivitamin supplements, products formulated using synthetic vitamins and minerals suffer from issues related to poor bioavailability, poor assimilation, non-compliance due to metallic/medicinal aftertastes, and tend to produce side effects like nausea when taken on an empty stomach.
••Cultured Nutrients - Cultured Nutrients are synthetic isolates that are cultured in a blend of nutritional yeast, S. cerevisiae being the most common, and other vital nutrients. The benefit of culturing isolated vitamins in this nutritional yeast blend is that it transforms the vitamin isolate into a whole-food matrix that resembles food. This form of vitamins is safe, natural, wholesome, and does not have the metallic taste associated with synthetic vitamin isolates. This form of vitamins is also better assimilated/utilized by the body than synthetic isolates.
•Whole-food Nutrients - The terms "whole-food" and "food-based" are, without a doubt, the most overused and abused terms in the supplements industry. Most companies use these terms loosely to either market vitamin isolates cultured in yeast / probiotics or, in extreme cases, to market products that contain synthetic vitamin isolates along with a small amount of fruit and vegetable powders to justify the reference to "food" on the label. This kind of labeling is misleading and a disservice to customers who are looking for vitamins derived from conventionally grown food sources. As a general rule, products that claim to be "food-based" or "whole-food," and list yeast (S. cerevisiae) or probiotics instead of the actual food source that the vitamins were extracted from are NOT true whole-food multivitamin products. Whole-food vitamins and minerals are highly bioavailable nutrients that are extracted by concentrating the full spectrum of naturally-occurring nutrients and their co-factors from conventional food sources like fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices..

SMART MOM JEWELRY
Our youngest has totally fallen in love with these teethers! She has suffered for months now with these gums. These letters came in a nice box with a see through top. There was tissue papers inside to make it look so cute.
I sometimes receive packages and it's in a cardboard box with no "excitement". These cute teething letters would make great baby shower gifts! The sets come in 3 different colors: pink, blue and yellow. Our little girl, when the box got opened, grabbed one out and ran around the house looking like a puppy with a bone! She can chew, chew and chew some more. While teething, kids put the craziest things in their mouths. It is a constant worry for moms. Take the worry away by purchasing this great product. Each set costs $14.99. The ABC letters are soft and bendable. No short edges or small pieces. All of the Teething Bling products are made from a food-safe, phthalate-free, federally-approved silicone. Safety is a big priority for Teething Bling makers. The makers of Teething Bling would like to remind all parents that Children with fully developed teeth may be able to bite through teething letters. Therefore, parents must determine what is best for their own situation and child and as always, we remind everyone that children – of any age – should never be left unattended at any time.
Another cool thing about these neat teethers is, so that you don't lose them, you can attach them to a binky holder.
I fell in love with this company about 2 years ago. I had only had my blog a short time and a new baby in the house. I got one of their products, the onyx teething necklace, in the donut shape.
On sale right now for $9.99
I was so impressed by this item and how much our newest member loved it. I also, in wearing it, got a lot of compliments and questions as to where to buy. I pointed them in the Smart Mom/ Teething Bling direction. This company is great and the personal attention that you get, should a need arise is amazing!
A little about them:
Smart Mom LLC is a truly unique company. Staffed entirely by Moms, everything is handled in our Maryland offices. That means if you have a question or concern, you’ll reach one of us. And because we’re all Moms, we understand what it’s like to have little ones underfoot. That’s why we make it so easy for you to contact us – email, Facebook, tweet, blog or call, we’ll answer right away. And we don’t mind crying babies in the background!
A lot of companies say they’re ‘family friendly.’ We are actually walking the walk. We give our team members their assignments and let them go, allowing them to work around their family schedules. We welcome children in our offices (you may hear crying babies in the background here, too!) and are always looking for ways to help other Moms. For us, family truly does come first.
This company is not just for the moms. Do you have a tie wearing husband? Check this out:
Ties look just like ‘regular’ ties but safely tucked inside each one is a surprise: a squeaker and a rattle to delight curious babies.
This tie also comes in green! #review

This set is super duper cute! We have the alien space ship bowl and the flower power set and are now digging the Monster spoon and fork set.
The greens and purple work so well for monster colors. The white faces will fade off after about 3 months of being thrown in the dishwasher. But as you can see it still is a super cute spoon
The plate and snack keeper that go with this set are super cute also. The plate is green, with a monster face and orange feet.
So you have a little "monster" at home? Even our little girl loves this set. All of her dishes are Nuby and they have withstood the dishwasher and have been tossed around. All the Nuby products we have are very child friendly. That is what I love about this company!
This set is for kids around 18 months of age and older. BPA free and full of vibrant colors.
You can purchase this cute set at
Amazon for $3.52

Five Lil Bass In Tow was sent this fork and spoon to test and post my honest review. Thank you for reading!
