Runaway Twin is about a girl named Sunny who has been in a series of foster homes while her twin sister, Star, had been adopted. Star and Sunny were separated from each other at age 3. Sunny's Dad left the family and the girls were left in the care of their mom and grandma, until mom and grandma died in an auto accident. Sunny is now living with a new foster mom, Rita. She had many other families that she lived with before this one. I do not want to explain too much so that you can read and find out on your own. But I do want to say that there is a unusual twist ending. It will leave you upset that the book was over but happy at how it did end.
Just think when you read this book that even strange cravings can change your life. Sunny had this craving for Twinkies and her life took it's curve from there.
