Goats Milk Bath Products Review and Giveaway

Sweet Smelling soaps:
Every goat milk soap bar is cold processed and contains at least an ounce of raw goat milk from our farm. This gives each and every bar we make a creamy goodness your skin will love. We hand cut every bar and cure it for a minimum 6 weeks. Every piece is unique in appearance, size, color and scent. Like our eight children, no two are alike. While our soaps last a long time, our impact on the environment doesn't. We use a 4" x 6" cotton bag to package our goat milk soaps; this is friendlier to the environment than plastic and lets your soaps breathe. Soaps listed here are full sized bars, but they are also available in half bar sizes as well as in soap logs. You may also choose from soaps that are unscented or made with just essential oils. Soaps weigh a minimum of 4.5 oz, but most average 5 ounces. Soaps prices range from $6 for regular bars to $6.50 for essential oil soaps to $8 for specialty soaps. Exact pricing and ingredients can be found on the individual soap pages.

Free Samples:

When you place an order, we will include up to three small soap samples with your order. Soap samples are small pieces of soap (the size of a quarter) that are good for a few hand washings. They are designed to give you an idea of what the scent smells like and how it feels on your skin. These samples do not come labeled, and are only identifiable by their color and their scent. Because there are so many people with allergies, we do not add samples to orders unless you specifically request them.

I thought this was a neat thing to test out. The soaps came in individual cheese cloth type bags.

Full Bar:

Fiji Island

Half Bar:

Pink Sugary

Half Bar:

Peppermint

Lip Balm:

Peppermint

The Peppermint actually smelled like a peppermint candy. The pink sugary soap smelled like a mix of brown sugar and sweet fruits. Fiji island smelled like a tanning room. All had a great scent. The soaps lathered nicely, which is something I wondered if it would do. I always wanted to try out homemade soaps and had never had the chance. I was very suprised and pleased. The bars are nice sized chunks of Goat's milk made soap. Even the half bars are a pretty good size. If you like to buy organic and products without all the harsh chemicals this soap is definately for you. My son has a hard time with a lot of soaps and washes. This one did not bother him at all. My hands were dry after usuing, but I wash my hands so much during the day I do not believe it was the soap. No one else in the family had that issue.
The chapstick was a fought over item in our house. It kept disappearing from my stuff and I would find it in the girls bathroom or their purses. It felt a lot better on the lips that the greasy normal feel to chapsticks. Plus the wonderful smell as you wore it was great. I liked the peppermint chapstick, when I had a cold recently, because it was almost like menthol how I could breathe a little better. I also love that I am supporting a good Christian family!

A Good Clean Soap Made by a Good Clean Family
We seek to honor Jesus in all that we do and that plays a big role in our family and our business. Our children (all eight of them) are taught "everything is a God issue" — including making and selling soap. We believe these values come through in the goodness of our products and the excellence of our customer service and we hope you will agree.

Our adventures into soapmaking originated in 2006 out of my (PJ's) desire to not use chemicals on the children’s skin. I wanted a natural soap that would moisturize their skin and last a long time. After making my first batch of soap, I put a bar into the shower. Jim's fingers soon stopped cracking and splitting. Since this was a problem he had suffered with for years, I knew I had something special.

Since I enjoyed making soap and was so impressed with its quality, I turned it into a family business. In 2008, Goat Milk Stuff was born, and I drafted the entire family into my adventures. We all agree that getting to work together as a family (despite occasional squabbles) is the best part of Goat Milk Stuff. And we do work hard. From the initial milking of the goats to the final bagging of the soap, all our goat milk soaps are handmade by the members of our family.
