My 9 year old is slightly chunky and these skirts were perfect with the adjustable waist. We also put on the baby, pulled the string and it fit her too. The tutu says that it fits up to a 10 year old and I am thrilled to say that my 12 year old was able to fit it also so everyone got to play princess. The skirt is very well put together, not some cheapie item! Are you looking for pieces to a costume? they have some great tutu's made in designs for different characters.
