Sea Life Aquarium

My 10 year old is a huge animal fan. Animals of all type. Her absolute favorite is penguins. We did not see any penguins at the aquarium but we did get to see so many different water life.

As you go into the Sea Life area they take your picture. You can purchase this picture at the end of your "tour". I think they cost from $15-$30 depending on size.

After the picture they hand you a card with spaces to scratch off circles. As you go through the place there are questions, in certain sections. For each question you scratch off the correct circle. As you are leaving and are going through the gift shop you will get a free gift for turning this sheet in. The prize is a gold circle on a ribbon. Sort of like you discovered treasure

Then as you come around the corner there are bathrooms and a "touch" pond.

You can pet shrimp

starfish

sea anemone

This, in my opinion, was the girls favorite part of Sea Life.

I have always called my husband a lobster because lobsters mate or life. So seeing this big guy was sort of neat

My oldest loved the sea horses for the very same reason. I personally just thought she liked the sea horses because the male seahorse does all the baby dirty work.

There were so many neat sea creatures that it is hard to say if there was a real favorite. Oh yes, I loved the color changing jelly fish. If I can figure out how to upload a video I will post it on here. I could definitely sleep to them.

The sting ray were interesting to watch. But they all made me remember the death of Steve Irwin.

We can not go to a sea aquarium without remembering everyone's 2 favorite cartoon fish either. So...

"just keep swimming, just keep swimming"

and guess what? I found Nemo!

The kids all had fun with the "bubbles" that you were able to climb in and look out at the creatures.

There was so much to do and so much to see. Although it would have been cool to have other sea related things to do as you go along.

I took so many pictures and the kids had a lot of fun. My advise if you go is to take your time and enjoy all the special creatures.

At the end there was a play area for the kids which had slides and tubes to crawl in.

After you leave the play area you go into gift shop and then you are done.

Tickets starting at around $11
