Being thankful for the things that you have is a interesting concept in children. Children tend to always want everything. As adults we see that what we have is what God wants us to have. I have to say since we don't always have, at our house, we have taught thankfulness since the very start. Our youngest just turned 2 and I am very thankful that she is already starting the "tainshoo" when she gets something she wants. In our house the phrase "we can't afford it right now" is very common thing.

Mercer Mayer is the writer and illustrator for Little Monster® and Little Critter® books. He began writing and illustrating children’s books in 1966 and since that time, he has published over 300 titles. I think even as adults some of us need this book! Being forgiving is not something that comes easily. Follow these Lil Critters as they learn a great life lesson in forgiving others.

    I am thankful they found out why my daughter quit breathing 6 times (epilepsy) and that she is now doing ok and home with us.
