A couple fun things to do tonight and tomorrow

I have been trying to keep my kids busy since it got so cold outside. Since we care for Grandma they dont get to get out as much as they probably should. So since this season is too cold to play outside we have been looking for any free things to do with the kids inside. We have found a couple things that are free....There is always the mall play area but with colds going around unless you want to antibacterial your kids hands all the time that might not always be the route you want to take. There are a couple restraunts that have free kids meals with adult purchase. Denny's has kids eat free on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I believe it is 1 child per adult. I will list more as I find them and make a separate blog post for just the free kids meal places. But right now there are a few things to do being close to Halloween. If you live in the Independence Missouri area the Susquehanna Baptist Church is having a Trunk or Treat tonight from 6-8pm. for more information call (816)257-2080. (Oct 28th) On Oct 29th the Fort Osage High school is having a haunted house in their cafeteria. This will be from 6-8pm Cost is $1 or a canned good per child. This is for k-4th grade.The ad says come trick or treat through our kid-friendly haunted house and enjoy activities like bingo, candy walks, and lots more. Bring your cameras and trick or treat bags. Booster club concessions will be open and selling hot dogs, popcorn, nachos and more! Should be fun and all proceeds go to Harvesters! Also tonight Coventry Baptist church off 39th st in Independence has a trunk or treat from 6-8pm from what I have been told there are free hot dogs. There are 3 fun things to do in the next couple days. In the future I will be posting more fun things to do and any free things to take the kids to see. I hope you all enjoy the fun you can have with your kids without forking over a fortune!
