Safety Tat Giveaway

Great giveaway by my co-blogger check it out!

Being a family of five
we are always on the go.  If it is not a
school function or sport than it is something else.  Usually on weekend when the weather is nice
you will catch us outside enjoying nature or going to our local Zoo.  SafetyTat is making those outings a bit
easier.  If you know you’re going to be
in a crowded place say a Zoo or an amusement park SafteyTat is a wonderful tool
that will help the child get back to you.
I have drilled my kids on phone numbers and address, but let’s face it,
if they are freaking out because they are lost who to say they will not
remember those all so important phone numbers.

I am not going to lie; about two years ago we
went to the renaissance festival here in town.
We go every year and most seasons we go two or three times.  We were with our other family members and in
total there was about 16 people in our group.
9 of which were children.  While
playing games and watching shows one of the kiddos (my 5year old) wandered off
and was out of my sight for about 4 minutes.
That was the longest 4 minutes of my life let me tell you.  I got this awful feeling in my stomach and
was flipping out.  He was found safely in
the care of security less that 25 yards or so from me. We were so grateful.

I know what you’re
thinking…shame on you Mom.  Your right shame
on me, but it does happen and when and if it does are you prepared.  We have tried bracelets, we have tried
remembering the numbers, we have even tried all going in the same colored
shirts so that we can identify our group.
SafetyTat so far has been the best tool I have seen to help in this
situation.

Here is a bit more
about Safety Tat from their website.

An Idea is born!

The
idea for SafetyTat temporary
child ID tattoos
was born of necessity one weekend at an amusement  park. On Labor Day Weekend, Baltimore Mom,
Michele Welsh and her husband, there with their three small children, felt
out-numbered. To stave her panic, she quickly wrote her mobile phone number on
each of their arms with a ballpoint pen. As she did this, she thoughtfully
explained to each of them the importance of staying close to Mommy and Daddy.
She also told them that if they were separated that the number on their arm was
a way to reconnect with them.

Throughout
the day of fun, Michele had to rewrite the number several times as it smeared
or washed off. Several parents in the park stopped her to ask if that was her
number on the kids' arms. Each time, they loved the idea.

The
day was a success and the idea for SafetyTat temporary child id tattoos was born.

What
a great idea right! Well that idea is now a reality and you to can find comfort
and know that when you go out with your kiddos or a large group you can use
SafetyTat to bring the kiddo back!

Or you can get them with
your phone number printed right on them like we did.  We tested them out at the Mall and at the
recent Pet Expo that we went to.  They
stayed on the whole day and did not come off.
Matter of fact it has been two weeks and one of my kiddos still has a
SafetyTat visable, and has learned his number just by it being there.

I
hope you give SafetyTat a try, they are a really cool idea and so glad we have
come across them.  Thanks SafetyTat for a
great product and for letting us try and review.
