Book The Adventures of Camp Nana Papa
I was so excited to get this book to review. Having family is a huge thing in our house. I didn't grow up near my grandparents. I saw them, at most, once a year. I was so jealous of my cousins, who almost all lived near them. We have worked very hard to make sure that our kids are close to their grandparents.
Camp Nana Papa is just that. Every time these 2 kids go to their grandma and grandpas, they call it going to Camp Nana Papa. The kids enjoy their time with their Nana and Papa.
I love that 2 pages in it says that lots of their friends call their grandparents something different. Our grandbaby "calls" us Grammie and Papi. My children call their grandparent Grandpa or Grandma (insert name here). My husband has parents and step parents so it get a little confusing. But they call my mom Gammie. I called mine Mamamaw and Papapaw. It all just depends on the family. I have a cousin who gets called Mimi. So in every child's heart is that special place just for them. I loved Camp Mamamaw and Papapaw. When I visited them, I had so many cousins to play with. We traveled by RV to camp sites and more. I got to see so much and hear so many wonderful stories.
