I was so excited to get this book to review. Having family is a huge thing in our house. I didn't grow up near my grandparents. I saw them, at most, once a year. I was so jealous of my cousins, who almost all lived near them. We have worked very hard to make sure that our kids are close to their grandparents. Camp Nana Papa is just that. Every time these 2 kids go to their grandma and grandpas, they call it going to Camp Nana Papa. The kids enjoy their time with their Nana and Papa. I love that 2 pages in it says that lots of their friends call their grandparents something different. Our grandbaby "calls" us Grammie and Papi. My children call their grandparent Grandpa or Grandma (insert name here). My husband has parents and step parents so it get a little confusing. But they call my mom Gammie. I called mine Mamamaw and Papapaw. It all just depends on the family. I have a cousin who gets called Mimi. So in every child's heart is that special place just for them

My daughter loves her sketch books. She draws daily. This sketch book has 100 sheets of wonderful blank pages. The pages are of a great weight of paper. I think that every parent has a way to make sure that their child knows they love them. God shows us every day, how much! I think that everyone has heard of Max Lucado. He has so many wonderful books and ministerial pieces. I've listened to him on the radio ever since I can remember. He is very interesting to listen to. His books are a great read. I was excited when I got to review one of his devotionals. I love to have a variety of devotionals. I like to switch them up or to read more than 1 to see what they have for me to learn that day. The cover of the adult devotional is a very simple yet thought provoking one. There is a tan cover with a single tree at the top. Sort of makes me think of the tree in the Garden of Eden. So I love the cover. The children's version is definitely that. It is a cartoon cover with a tree with a tree house in it. Makes you think, doesn't it. Each of the children's book pages are a serene color of blue. I like my devotions to have the scripture printed out for me. I guess I'm a lazy devotion reader. I lost my Bible in one of our moves and haven't replaced it yet. With this set, we had to look up the verse that goes with the devotional. Sarah Young, the author, did a great job in the smoothness of her writing.  The devotions are easy to read and the pictures in the children's book are cute. I am all about the unique items this year. I'm not sure if you have noticed this with all the reviews I have done. I love to color so this was the perfect product for me. I have colored since I was really little. It is so relaxing to just sit and put that crayon or colored pencil to the page. Have you tried it, as an adult? My husband and I had the hardest time in trying to have children. I prayed every night that God would allow me to have a child. I wanted 6 little angels to love and hug. Throughout 8 miscarriages, I carried the prayer for those 6 children. After I almost died having child #5, I had to get fixed. My heart was broken. I desperately wanted 6. The 1st book, that I received, was Peanut's Mistake by Karen Kilpatrick This specific Pumpkinheads adventure is with Peanut the dog and Carmin. Peanut knows not to run in the house and yet he does. He gets so excited running after a ball that he knocks the shelf over and breaks a vase. He gets so upset that he runs off and hides. Carmin comes through and doesn't see the mess. She walks through and trips over the mess, she then gets it all over her dress. She is very upset and gets ready to go and scold Peanut. Trying to find him is difficult until she sees his dirty paw prints. She follows them all the way to under the bed. After he comes out Carmin shows him that everyone makes mistakes and she still loves him. They clean up the mess, together. I can not even express in this review what a neat book this is....I cried through typing in all the information on their site. The front of the book, in itself, is perfect! Every night my youngest daughter says her prayers with Daddy. She goes through the list of all her siblings and her niece. This book shows little ones how to say thanks. I have gotten to write reviews on quite a few kids books. I love how most of the books have such cute animals and other graphics. I know that my kids have loved these books. They have brought about some interesting conversations. Another book written by this lady is I Love You All The Same. We have 1 adopted daughter and even though we do not treat her any different nor does she get treated like she is different, this might be good for when she is old enough to understand. We have lots of friends that are foster parents and or adoptive parents. Each child understands things differently. This book shows that no matter what....blonde, red headed, skinny, chunky, tall, short, white, black or purple, you are all the same. God loves you no matter what!
