Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops

Image
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. Ulysses S. Grant was President, the population of America hovered at 39 million, and the telephone was still a pipe dream, when in 1870 J. Herman Pine hung out a confectionery shingle on 8th Street above Walnut in Philadelphia and, along with his brother, sold their first batch of what they called 'Pine Brothers Glycerine Tablets.' In an attempt to relieve his own sore throat and those of his family members, Mr. Pine, a former German confectionery maker, determined that by combining the soothing natural qualities of glycerin with the healing properties of gum acacia, he could sooth and mitigate the mild discomfort of a sore throat. Add in some natural flavoring and a sweetener and voila, Pine Brothers Softish Throat Drops were born. "I have discovered something," Pine wrote, "which will give quick throat relief to thousands afflicted as I was." He added, "Perhaps I won't make much money o

Nuby Sea Scooper Bath Time Scooper

Image
The Nuby Sea Scooper is by far the neatest item I have reviewed yet! ◦ Fun and interactive You can just let the scooper hang on the wall or let your child's imagination run wild. Let them imagine they are Jonah being swallowed by the whale, or a sea caption whale hunting. Each scenario with this helps their little minds grow! ◦ Scoop all of the toys and keep them together in one place Perfect grip handle for easy scooping! I didn't even have a hard time holding onto it while it was wet. Large mouth opening so even the bulkier bath toys can be swallowed up and hung to dry. ◦ Clean up time is fun You can even hang the whale up on the wall of the bathtub and let your child toss the toys in, like a basketball hoop! This is such a fun item with so many uses! ◦ Allows toys to dry quick and easily I hate when bath toys still have water in them a couple days later when you go to give another bath. With the Sea Scooper you do not have that issue. The whale has large h

Hugo The Happy Starfish The Promise Ebook review

Image
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. We love Hugo the Starfish at our house! He always has a good moral to his stories. In The Promise Hugo learns a lesson in doing the things you say you will. If you make a promise to someone you need to keep it. Hugo is off to the real world and he gets lost. While lost he meets Seedo and promises Seedo that when he rests he will come back and they can go to the real world together. Hugo gets to the nearest island and rests. The next morning as he is to set off to the real world, Hugo gets stuck in some sand and cannot escape. The snail on the island says that in order for Hugo to leave he must remember his promise and be willing to keep it. Hugo remembers and takes off to get Seedo. I believe this is a great moral for kids. A lot of kids don't understand that keeping your word is very important! Every Suzy Liberman book is full of beautiful colors and the story keeps kids very entertained! Thank you for readi

Princess Sophia and the Frog 5 Book Review

Image
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. This is such a cute fairy tale. If you are looking for a Valentine's gift for your daughter or for a little girl this would be a great one. Almost all little girls want to be a princess. Princess Sophia is great at using her imagination. The colors in this book are brilliant! My one daughter loves the color pink and this book just filled her pink dreams. Princess Sophia is taken on a "trip" by her friend the frog. They travel to other planets to get to the moon. Each planet has a different feeling. Once they get to their destination they fall right back down to the castle where they belong. After her return to the castle she realizes that all she needs to be happy is to be surrounded by good friends. This is such a perfectly adorable little book. I got to review it by ebook but am seriously contemplating going and buying one for my daughter. Please go check out this children's book about happiness a
