The best detergent to use on cloth diapers are Little Love Buns or Rockin Green
Preparing the Diapers before Use
We recommend washing and machine drying the diapers and inserts before you use them to remove any residue from the manufacturing and shipping process.
Make sure you are using Rockin Green Detergent or another non-residue soap for prepping the diapers. Please note that “natural” or “eco-friendly” detergents do not mean that they are good for cloth diapers! The detergent must be one that leaves no residue and suitable for your type of water. The only brand we trust 100% is Rockin Green and you can find it here, at many local baby boutiques where cloth diapers are sold and online.
Do not use any bleach, liquid softeners, dryer sheets, dryer bars or natural oils while washing and drying the diapers.
I love that it has the removable insert. Some cloth diapers don't have that option. The front snaps are great to adjust the size. These diapers should fit babies to potty trained. That is great! No changing sizes every couple months. We still buy disposable diapers but I love having my cloth diapers. We spend around $40 a month on disposable diapers. But if we had of started out buying cloth diapers when we brought the baby home I can't even begin to explain how much money we would have saved. This would save your pocket book every month. I think everyone should try cloth diapers for at least 1 month. I think it would change your outlook.
