Michals Window (King David's First Wife) by Rachelle Ayala
This is a Fictional recount of the story of David. Each chapter has a scripture verse to start it off. This has David's relationship with the king and with his 2 daughters. It shows the amazing David and Goliath scene. Follows David and Michal through there falling and in love and the complications from that.
This book has adult content, some scenes are quite steamy. This is not a harlequin novel but it does get steamy at times. Very good read. I enjoyed the book. I would definitely read more from this author.
Set in ancient Israel, Michal'sWindow is a 172,500 word romantic epic of King David's life as seen through the eyes of his first love, the Princess Michal.
Because this book is self-published, Michal's Window includes steamier love scenes than is commonly found in Biblical fiction. It also adds unorthodox storylines--a Philistine priestess who befriends Michal and a handfasting ceremony between Michal and her Philistine lover. Your readers will be intrigued by this imaginative and fascinating story of a woman, ruled by love, who endures heartache and loss, but never gives up on her first love. [Please do not sign up to review if love scenes and adultery disturb you. The scenes are not explicit in mainstream fiction, but some readers of inspirational fiction have found them to be too much.]
