We love all the Hugo books! You should check them all out! Each Hugo the Happy Starfish book is filled with great morals and lessons for every child. Hugo has taught friendship, sharing, loyalty and many more helpful lessons. Each Hugo story is made for easy understanding. The bright pictures and animated characters are great for keeping your child entertained.
Some of the Hugo books even come in Spanish.
I believe that most Hugo books are perfect for ages 4-8 year old boys and girls alike. This would make a great classroom book. Great to donate to your teacher. You can find most Hugo books online through Amazon.com. Some of the books only come in e-books but there are some that also come in hardback.

On the ISLAND OF INDEPNDENCE Hugo learns that it feels good to have a good attitude and to know what the right thing to do is, without somebody telling them.
The little starfish gets rewarded for all the things he has learned and becomes king of the island.
The story consists of 29 gorgeous illustrations showing a colorful and magical underwater world.
Children will laugh at the delightful characters, hold their breaths in suspense and love to read this story over and over.
The book is suitable as a read aloud book for preschoolers or a self-read book for older children.
