LegoLand Kansas City

We had so much fun last week when we got to go to the new LEGOLAND KC!!

We took my son who has 2 broken bones in bottom of his left leg, so he is in a wheelchair. This site was SO helpful and accommodating to our needs! I was so impressed as a lot of places wouldn't be so accommodating. As you enter you can buy a lanyard with a neat book full of games and a place to stop at all the stamp pads throughout the building.

Then you can go into a room that has already built, interactive, Lego sets. Each set is on a timer thing that lights up when the room goes dark. The kids loved the race track. Everything was Legos but the cars were able to be raced by pushing a button. My favorite was the Wizard of Oz set.

The farm house, which I didn't get a picture of, blows air in the room and shows a tornado on the wall. Makes you feel like you are there.
The Witch one, when you push the button, has the witch screaming "I'm melting, I'm melting". So cute!

There is also a stadium.

Looks real doesn't it?

There is another ride that you can take your kids on.

If you have time and can sit for a movie, you will want to. This movie was AWESOME!! It's 3D so you have to wear glasses. It has wind that blows when there is wind blowing in the video, there was snow coming out of the walls when snow flew on the screen, and the lights when lights were flashing on the screen. Was so much fun!

My son, with the broken leg, had the most fun in the Lego pools.

And the Lego building station

We got to make souvenir pennies also. You put the penny in, pay $.50 and it squishes a design onto the penny. Nice way to commemorate your trip.

There is a place to eat and neat Lego lunch boxes that you can buy.

I also peeked in the birthday party rooms. So cute as the birthday child gets to sit in a throne chair.

Ok so my favorite statue in all of LEGOLAND has to be the Darth Vader!!

Oh the way out they had wall of Lego's that you can purchase the colors that you want. So neat!!

So this trip is free for kids 2 and under. For kids above 2 (online it is $14.45) if you purchase at the door it is $17 per person. They do have annual passes and do birthday parties. Check online for prices.

This is worth EVERY penny!!

I was sent 4 tickets to LEGOLAND KC to go and then post my honest review. All views are my own. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy your trip there as much as we did!
