With a sensory child in the house, we use a lot of products for different uses other than they were intended. Our little one needs to focus on things, when she gets to the point of a meltdown. Whether it be taking her mind off things and watching her tablet, hiding under a blanket or putting on headphones and sitting in the quiet for a bit.

With that said, I know these links are supposed to be used in the bathtub. But our little girl uses them everywhere and anywhere. She likes things to be in order or so this is a good distraction for her. She doesn't usually put them in color order as long as they are all there.

You can use this as a time to teach colors and animals.

If you use these in the tub, that is awesome. In order to dry them, after fun in the tub, just sent them on a bottle rack upside down. If you do not have a bottle rack just make sure to stand the link so that the hole is downward. Great way to keep them clean is to soak them in cleaner every couple months.
