Kids get so excited on this day..they are all dressed up and ready for the free candy!! BUT stop and share these safety tips with them so everyone can have a happy and safe time trick or treating. #1. ALWAYS look both ways! Even though you are out trick or treating there are still people out there who are not and they are not watching for you or your child. #2. If you are driving somewhere make sure you have enough gas and a phone to call home in any emergency. You do not want to be in the dark with no way to reach someone. #3. NEVER go into a strangers house! If they invite you in politely decline and leave. Try to stay with an adult or let your parents know exactly which direction you are going and have a curfew. #4. Vandalism is never cool! Throwing eggs at cars and houses is not cool. Someone has to clean it up and it could be you, if you get caught. You can also be arrested and punished as a juvenile. This movie is based of real events. This movie starts out where Sam (Chris Pine)learns that his father is dead. When he goes home to the funeral he meets with his dads lawyer thinking he is going to get an inheritance. When he opens the bag his dad left he finds a bunch of money and thinks it is left for him. But essentially finds out his dad had another child...a daughter named "Frankie" (Elizabeth Banks), and it is for her and her son (Michael Hall D'Addario). Throughout the movie he tries to find a way to tell her about being her brother and how to give her this money. Along the way they build a great relationship and learn alot about the other. The end made me cry...Was a very good movie. There was a little foul language but no sexual content. I would say that any child over 10 would be ok to watch this movie. Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. You will need: •1 cup margarine •2 cups sugar •4 eggs •1/4 teaspoon salt •2 teaspoons soda •4 cups flour •6 large bananas, very ripe, mashed •1 cup finely chopped pecans (you do not have to add these if you do not like pecans) Stir together soft margarine and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing as you go. In another bowl mix dry ingredients together then slowly add to the creamy mixture. Slowly stir in mashed bananas and chopped pecans. Poor into 2 well greased loaf pans or if you would like well greased muffin tins. Bake loaf pans for 1hr and 15 min or until you poke with a toothpick and it comes out clean. Muffin tins take around half of that time. Makes about 2 loaves or 20 muffins. If you try this recipe please lmk what you think...I would love to hear!

I received this as a sample to try. I would definately buy again. In our house we use a variety of deodorants. My oldest son (14) uses Axe, my oldest daughter (16)uses vanilla Secret, middle daughter (11)doesnt seem too picky so uses whatever is in the medicine cabinet at the time. But Jeff and I usually use Teen Spirit if we can find it. Yes I just said my husband uses Teen Spirit lol He has found that most mens deodorants don't last the full day, like he needs. This Dove deodorant is made so that when you shave and get the dark rings under your arm from shaving irritation, it renews that skin. It is made with calendula and sunflower seed extracts. This product claims to have 24 wetness protection and lives up to that claim. I had no problems at all. Now, I am a stay at home mom who care for her grandmother in law, so in all truth I am not out running races to build up a sweat. I have been trying to keep my kids busy since it got so cold outside. Since we care for Grandma they dont get to get out as much as they probably should. So since this season is too cold to play outside we have been looking for any free things to do with the kids inside. We have found a couple things that are free....There is always the mall play area but with colds going around unless you want to antibacterial your kids hands all the time that might not always be the route you want to take. There are a couple restraunts that have free kids meals with adult purchase. Denny's has kids eat free on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I believe it is 1 child per adult. I will list more as I find them and make a separate blog post for just the free kids meal places. But right now there are a few things to do being close to Halloween. Good morning and happy Saturday to you all! My family and I had an AWESOME night last night. It was our youth costume party for church. Jeff and I were Wilma and Fred Flintstone, Kirky was Bamm Bamm, Myrissa Victorea and Whitnee were the Powerpuff Girls, Jacub was the Mad Hatter and his friend Zack was a Zombie. I have had a blast for the past 3 months or so making costumes and collecting items to make them. Our youth had a prize for best costume and I was excited that Jacub won!! There were some other great costumes there. Our youth pastor was a jester, we had raggedy Andy satan, a Grease character, a ninja, Batman, black Santa, a video game character and a couple old ladies. All in all it was a great night. We also learned to play an interesting game where there were towns people, mafia,2 drs and a sheriff and deputy. Was a lot of fun! I am very thankful for all our youth and our wonderful youth pastor! Oh and Jacubs prize was a gift card to game stop!
