Zim's Natural Based Muscle Rub Max Freeze

Image
My 16 year old son was in a car accident, where the car rolled. He broke a rib and was unconscious for awhile. As a parent, this was a very scary event. But, as the person in the accident, he was in pain. The muscles in his body were so tight. Have you ever been in a car accident? If so then you know that you may feel fine right after the accident but just give it a couple days. My sons accident was over a month ago but his healing process has been so slow! He is still pretty messed up. Motrin, and other pain meds, can only do so much. We were asked to test out Max-Freeze Spray. I was so thankful, as this came at the perfect time! My son was a very willing candidate for testing this product. So simple to use and no strong scent. Just a very pleasant and soft smell. Just spray it on the area that needs it the most and rub. ( you do not have to rub, we found it just made it better) Just massage the area so that is sinks into the muscle. You can apply and rub up to 4x a day. Just make

Warmables Eye Mask Review

Image
I suffer from terrible migraines. For about a year I have been putting rice or beans in a sock and using those for a mask like this one. You have to be very careful with microwaving the rice though as the grains of rice can explode if too hot. If you have migraines, cramps or even arthritis, the soothing relief of warmth is what sometimes gets you through. The cherry pits put off a moist heat but you are not going to feel the moisture. The heat seems to last around a half an hour. I have not used this as a boo-boo pad. It can cool down fevers or calm bug bites. Like all our products our eye masks are unscented and washable. They can be used in combination with essential oils if you like creating your personalized aromatherapy. I received this Warmable to try and love it! It came in a cute rooster pattern. They are made with cherry pits. You can use them cold, just set in freezer for a couple days. Or you can use them hot, please do not microwave over 45 sec. There are severa

Glow Sticks Review

Image
I can't say that I was too happy with this company. I ordered this from Amazon with the understanding that it was going to be a pack of 100 glow sticks that can be made into bracelets. I got really excited because this was perfect coming right before my daughters birthday party. The shipping was fast, so that was great! But when I opened the package a couple of the glow sticks were already glowing. Since they only last a few hours, these were not going to make it to her party 3 days later. Now, I didn't need all 100 for her party....BUT....I was bored the next day so I counted the glow sticks. There were 73 total in the container. Now if this hadn't been a review item, which means I got this product free to post my honest review, I would have been really upset at this purchase. When I contacted the rep doing this review, all they said was yes they knew about it and have changed manufacturers since finding this out. Ummm ok?? If I had of purchased these myself, I would h

Personalized Children's Book Review

Image
Not only was this book fun to make it was super easy to make! My 7 year old son rarely get the items to review. I was excited when this one came up. Plus, if you ask him what he wants to be when he grows up, he will say a ninja. A white ninja because the white clothed ones are good and the black clothed ones are bad. So Ninja it was! Just go to KD Novelties http://www.kdnovelties.com/ Find the book or cd you would like to purchase. Click on it and start to personalize your book. Just fill out the information they ask for. My son thought it was awesome that not only was he the ninja in the book, that saved the world, but his friends were in it also. The KD Novelties asks for up to 3 friends for the book. I included his older brother and 2 best friend cousins. What a neat idea this was. You really should check this company out. With Christmas coming, would make a great gift for that young child on your list. They have plenty to choose from and you can find boys and girls b

Brave Girls Bible Stories Book Review and Giveaway

Image
Why not join Hope, Gracie, Glory, Faith, and Honor and they go through the Bible and see why they can be brave too. Women in the Bible were brave. God helped them become the strong, brave women that they were. Our girls can be that way too! I am not a very brave person. I tend to hide behind my husband. But I have tried raising strong girls. I sometimes envy women I see with lots of bravery. I love Ruth and Esther's stories. Brave Girls shows you so many strong and brave women of the Bible. Some you might know and well, some you may not. But all the stories are written in a way that it is like the women are telling you their stories. This book is very easy to follow and great Mommy/daughter time. Meet Hope Ready for a game of football? Yeah, I know I’m a girl. And girls aren’t supposed to play football, right? Well, you haven’t seen me with my brothers. Every Saturday afternoon we’re out in the yard playing flag football with our neighbors. And if it isn’t football, it’s

Little Critters Being Thankful and We All Need Forgiveness Board Books Giveaway

Image
Being thankful for the things that you have is a interesting concept in children. Children tend to always want everything. As adults we see that what we have is what God wants us to have. I have to say since we don't always have, at our house, we have taught thankfulness since the very start. Our youngest just turned 2 and I am very thankful that she is already starting the "tainshoo" when she gets something she wants. In our house the phrase "we can't afford it right now" is very common thing. Little Critters Books are so great at helping teach those, well needed, lessons to our children. Mercer Mayer is the writer and illustrator for Little Monster® and Little Critter® books. He began writing and illustrating children’s books in 1966 and since that time, he has published over 300 titles. Mayer currently lives in New England with his wife Gina, who co-wrote many of the popular Little Critter® books. He has four children and two grandchildren. This

Nuby Fruitsicle Popsicle Molds Review and Giveaway

Image
Now the toddlers can be just like the big kids! My older kids run around with the popsicles that are shaped like tubes. It is really hard for our 2 year old to use them. She can't figure out how to raise the ice with each bite. She also can't use scissors to crop off the top of the plastic as she goes along. We have also tried the $ store frozen popsicle makers, too big. Nuby just came out with the perfect item for our toddler! Toddler size popsicle trays! The bright colors caught her eyes the minute we pulled the tray out of the box. Each color is bright and shiny just like the rest. Boy and girls colors so they aren't too boyish or too girlie. Although, now, I can't keep my older kids out of her popsicles. I guess they never really grow up. We have tried apple juice, white grape juice, grape Kool-Aid and even just water. Not only are these a great summer time item to have but are great for teething toddlers. We have given these to her when we find her roam

Nuby NEW Juice Box Holder Review

Image
Check out this super cool NEW item! I loved it from the minute I spotted it. Our little one absolutely loves to be like the big kids. I would give her the juice boxes and pouches and she would immediately squeeze, resulting in juice or milk everywhere! Such a pain. I am super stoked about Nuby coming out with this juice box holder. You can't just drop the box in or take it out. The box fits nice and snug so the kids can't just remove it themselves. Our 2 year old LOVES this product. No more squeezed out spills.. At this moment you can only purchase from Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M4VCKXS/?tag=cheapbabycare-20 This Juice box holder is shaped like a peeling banana which is perfect so that little hands can grip the "peels". The green base has a non slip grip to it. Just all around, no more spills. You can toss this in the dishwashers top shelf and it will still be in perfect shape when it comes out. Just push the box back out by the hole in th

Nuby Chewbies Teether Review

Image
Our little girl does not like binkies, but she suffers terribly from teething. I saw this Chewbie's teether and thought "Let's give this a chance". There are a couple colors to choose from. I was ready to do anything to help our little girl and her teething pain. We tried teething tabs, which did work very well. However, you can't use them all day long. So I bought her a Wubbanub. That didn't last very long because it is the shape of a binkie and doesn't reach back for those pesky molars. This Teether is the greatest! The shape is perfect for your little one. Check out the shape: Each end of this BPA free teether has ribbed spots. Your angel with love to let them rub up against their sore gums. We even stuck ours in the freezer for extra comfort. There are so many positive things to say about this teether. Has the perfect spot for little hands to grip. This teether also comes in a hygienic carrying case. It looks like a clear Easter egg. Perfe
